The much-awaited Bull Run Summit 2021, India’s largest capital markets conference & expo for investors & traders, just got over. The event was successful and attended by an interactive audience from all over the nation.
The three-day virtual trade conference went live from 23rd to 25th July 2021 welcoming thousands of guests to join the masters of capital market share their experience and insights on hot-button topics. As we still celebrate the success of the event, here’s a curtain call to recall some of the best moments of the show.
Day 1: The opening day: A blast of excitement
The event began on an energetic opening note with the Event Director of Bull Run Summit Siddharth Jhunjhunwala welcoming the attendees and the keynotes speakers.
The keynote session was by Mr. Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO, BSE, and Mr. Nitin Jaiswal, Head of Asia-Pac, Bloomberg, covering some of the current topics on fintech. Ashish spoke about Zomato’s listing as the first unicorn, liquidity as a challenge and how BSE is helping to overcome it, and a clear idea on the ETF and its people. Both Nitin and Ashish focussed on the current pandemic which has accelerated the movement of the stock market to a great extent.
What made the opening event an eye-catcher was how Nitin and Ashish discussed the fintech topics with a dash of humor. The day winded up with Raman Roy’s session on Venture & Angel Investing, which was attended by an interactive audience.
Day 2: Market Wizards, master traders, and more...
The event rolled on to the second day that was power-packed with some of the brilliant minds of the capital market. The day started with Nikhil Kamath getting candid with Jack Schwager in an interview. Schwager, the author of several books on trading, spoke about his latest “Unknown Market Wizards” and narrated stories of some of the extraordinary traders who came from diverse backgrounds and yet made it big in trading.
One of the most interesting sessions was by Prateek Singh who not only shared his knowledge on Algo Trading and its benefits but kept the audience on their toes throughout his session.
There were more interesting sessions by speakers like Vivek Bajaj, Radhika Gupta, and Gautam Shah, and some of the most informative and educational ones by Dr. C. K. Narayan, Padmaja Ruparel, and Mahendra Kumar Jajoo.
The audience was super interactive throughout the day, and queries kept on popping up for every session. People interacted and asked questions to speakers like Gautam Shah, Padmaja Ruparel, Andrew Holland, and Anish Teli to learn about Equities and investments. The audience also learned how to plan their finances for the future in the informative session by Soumyajit Ghosh.
There were two panel discussions that were interesting and attended by an audience eager to learn. The closing remarks by Sid took us all to the third day, open to premium registration.
Day 3: Workshops and chitchats
The third day was dedicated to workshops by trainers like Avadhut Sathe, Harsh Kamdar, Joel Pannikot, and Vishal Mehta. Topics covered were futuristic and directly linked to anyone interested in taking up trading seriously as a career option.
Pointing out the energy of the audience, it was really commendable which contributed a fair share to the success of the event. The networking sessions or roundtables remained packed on day 1. The team of Bull Run Summit received several emails from people who are further interested to reach out with many more queries and suggestions.
